Privacy & browser storage
How this website uses browser storage, sharing, hosting, and optional future advertising.
Scope and contact
This notice covers elioppenheim.com and its games. The site owner is Eli Oppenheim. For questions about this notice or your information, email elioppenheim@gmail.com. Updated October 1, 2026.
What the game saves
The game uses localStorage in your browser to remember your best score, number of finished rounds, tutorial-seen flag, and daily challenge completion date. These records are saved on your device. The game does not upload them to an account or leaderboard. You do not need to register or provide your name to play.
You can remove those records by clearing site data for this domain in your browser. Clearing them resets your saved progress. Private browsing and blocked storage can also prevent the records from being retained. The daily seed uses the UTC date and does not require your location.
Hosting and technical information
The hosting infrastructure processes requests needed to deliver the website. Those requests can contain technical information such as an IP address, requested URL, browser information, and request time. Hosting providers may process operational logs for delivery, security, and troubleshooting. The game itself does not add an analytics service or send a player profile to the owner.
Fonts and game data are bundled with the site. Sound is generated in your browser and is optional. This site does not request microphone, camera, or precise-location access.
Odyssey checkpoints and settings
Odyssey stores progress in odyssey.save.v1 and preferences in odyssey.settings.v1 in this website’s localStorage. Records include checkpoint destination, completed islands, equipment, inventory, coins, and sound/motion settings. These records stay in your browser and are not uploaded to a server. Its game frame is served from this same website; it uses no third-party asset or audio service. Clearing site data erases these saves along with your golf progress.
Sharing and email
The Share button creates a score-card image in your browser. If you choose a sharing app, that app receives the image and is governed by its own privacy practices. Downloading the card saves it to your device. No score-card upload service is used by the game.
If you email elioppenheim@gmail.com, the owner and email provider receive your email address and the content you send. Only include information needed to explain your question. This site does not sell game-progress records.
Advertising status
Google AdSense ads are not currently enabled, and this version does not load AdSense or advertising-tracking scripts. Space may be reserved for future advertisements. Applying for AdSense and verifying site ownership do not themselves activate ad serving.
If Google ads are enabled later, Google and its advertising partners may use cookies, local storage, IP addresses, and other identifiers to deliver ads, prevent fraud, measure performance, and, where permitted, personalize advertising. The privacy notice and consent settings will be updated before that integration is activated. Google’s certified consent-management requirements will be addressed for visitors in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland. Google explains its data practices at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites and its advertising controls at myadcenter.google.com.
Changes and your choices
You can play without enabling sound, decline the browser’s share sheet, and clear game storage whenever you want. External links and sharing apps have their own privacy notices. This notice will be updated when the site’s data practices change; check the update date above.
