About this playground
Original browser games and a personal corner of the internet from Eli Oppenheim.
A place to play
Eli Oppenheim’s playground brings personal projects and browser games together. The first game is The Lowest Score: a draft challenge in which you combine eight different golfers’ strengths into one fictional golfer. The website is free to use and does not require an account.
The project is designed for quick rounds on a phone, with a daily challenge for players who want to compare their choices. You can also play a classic round with a different golfer order each time.
What the game represents
This is an independent fantasy game. It is not affiliated with Augusta National, the Masters, or any golfer. Player names identify the golfers whose reputations inspired the subjective ratings. The site uses initials and original illustrations rather than official logos or player photographs.
Ratings are gameplay judgments, not official statistical rankings. A peak decade is an editorial label used to organize the draft. A course-record result is an in-game achievement rather than a statement about a real competitive round.
